Electrical Field Engineer

HTG is looking to hire an Electrical Field Engineer who will drive installer channel sales by delivering hands-on field training across the U.S.

In this role, you will:
Deliver on-customer premise training of new installers during onboarding
Provide technical support during installer sales outreach
Provide troubleshooting services
Provide on-demand technical support during demos and across partner channels as needed.

Required skills and experience:
3 years of demonstrated experience supporting the sales, installation, and troubleshooting of innovative residential and/or energy products
Working knowledge of US electrical code
Working knowledge of power electronics
Knowledge of EV charging communication protocols (ISO 15118) and DER integration protocols (IEEE 2030.5, OpenADR)
Working knowledge of IoT communication protocols
Ability and willingness to travel; 85%+ in the US
Bachelors in Engineering from top tier university or equivalent
