Construction Electrical Estimator
Hybrid (Tampa, FL) 100,000 to 130,000 + Benefits + 10% Bonus Potential Relocation Available A fast-growing and nationally recognized electrical contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its Change Order department. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to support the company's continued growth by delivering timely and accurate electrical estimates for large-scale multifamily and commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage estimating timelines and processes to meet bid deadlines
• Communicate with operations teams and clients to clearly define project scopes
• Analyze construction drawings and specifications to prepare detailed estimates
• Conduct on-screen overlays, takeoffs, and scope narratives
• Allocate costs into project budgets and prepare comprehensive bid proposals
• Maintain organized notes in the estimating pipeline
• Present estimates to operations and clients with clarity and professionalism
• Mentor and guide junior estimating team members
• Commit to the role for a minimum of 16 months Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of electrical estimating experience (multifamily/commercial preferred)
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and estimating best practices
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Accubid experience highly preferred
