An established, employee-owned engineering and construction firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our Columbus, OH office. Position Overview:
As the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team of engineers and designers in the planning, design, and execution of challenging infrastructure and facilities projects across the region. You will guide project delivery, mentor staff, and ensure technical quality while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, technical guidance, and oversight for electrical design on a wide variety of public and private sector projects.

  • Manage and mentor a growing team of electrical engineers and designers.

  • Coordinate with project managers, mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Oversee the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

  • Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals, client meetings, and presentations.

  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering design and project management.

  • Strong technical knowledge in power distribution, lighting, and control systems for infrastructure and facility projects.

  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical system modeling software.

  • Proven leadership ability and passion for mentoring junior staff.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
