Electrical Engineer

St. Louis Missouri Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will design and develop standalone excitation systems that regulate voltage, protect, and monitor synchronous generators and motors. Your expertise in electrical design, PLC/HMI programming, and power bridges will be instrumental in driving our projects to successful completion. Responsibilities
• Design electrical/electronic products for use in protection and control of power generation, transmission, distribution, and motor systems
• Develop and implement electrical design standards for PLC, protection, and excitation systems
• Ensure compatibility with control, HMI, and mechanical disciplines
• Create 1-line and 3-line schematics, wire diagrams, transformer specifications, and logic files for digital controllers
• Supervise other engineers and technicians assigned to a particular project
• Evaluate test data and verify correctness of final schematics, printed circuit boards, and bills of material
• Travel as required for training, support, and project-related needs Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 5+ years of electrical design experience
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming, power bridges, and three-phase power is a plus
• Strong knowledge of electrical architecture and electronic circuit design
• Excellent communication and coordinative skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team What We Offer
