Overview:
A well-established engineering consultancy in Miami is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a respected organization that has been delivering engineering excellence in the South Florida area for over three decades.
In this role, the Electrical Engineer will be involved in the design, planning, and project management of electrical systems for both commercial and residential developments. The ideal candidate brings 2 to 4 years of experience, though professionals with more extensive backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the design and development of electrical systems for various construction and infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
Manage project lifecycle phases from design, documentation, to construction administration.
Prepare and review electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Ensure all projects comply with local codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Actively participate in client meetings, site inspections, and project reviews.
Contribute to maintaining the firm's reputation for quality and reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in electrical systems design and project management; open to more experienced candidates.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design tools is preferred.
Solid understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable regulations.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus, but not required.
