Our client is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves working on a range of building projects including commercial spaces, K-12 schools, higher education facilities, hospitals, and more. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator with expertise in lighting design, power distribution, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and review change orders
- Assist project managers by preparing and submitting RFIs and submittals
- Design and layout power distribution systems, fire alarm systems, and panel selection
- Conduct site visits and field inspections
- Provide engineering analysis including:
- Preliminary design
- Budget assessments
- Equipment selection
- Life cycle cost analysis
- System calculations
- Develop detailed technical construction specifications
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical engineering for building systems
- EIT or PE preferred but NOT required
