JOB - Electrical Engineer
LOCATION - Pinellas Park, FL
SALARY - $90,000 - $105,000 per annum

A market-leading manufacturer of premium marine vessels is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of onboard electrical systems. This is a full-time, hands-on engineering role with responsibility across the full lifecycle of marine electrical systems-from design and schematics through to installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in 12-24VDC and 110/220VAC marine electrical systems and possess a strong understanding of industry standards, safety, and compliance.
The Electrical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within the marine or offshore industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control, automation, and lighting.
- Proficiency in electrical design and CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Familiarity with marine electrical standards and regulatory frameworks (ISO, ABYC, NMMA).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented and hands-on approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
The Electrical Engineer duties will involve:
- Designing and developing electrical systems for marine vessels, including harnesses, schematics, and component layout.
- Creating and maintaining electrical drawings and documentation to support manufacturing and compliance.
- Collaborating with mechanical and design engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical systems onboard boats.
- Providing ongoing maintenance support and troubleshooting electrical issues in production and fielded vessels.
- Ensuring all systems are compliant with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Managing electrical projects including scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems.
