Description
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in aluminum processing and manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize production downtime and increase system uptime.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and support continuous improvement in equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and production teams to align electrical systems with operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and internal standards.
- Participate in capital projects, electrical upgrades, and modernization efforts.
- Support integration of motor controls, power distribution, PLCs, and instrumentation systems.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical knowledge in power distribution, motor controls, PLC programming, and instrumentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex electrical issues under pressure.
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork and project coordination capabilities.
