Renewable Energy - Electrical Engineer
Our client is looking for a licensed Electrical Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience. We are looking for an individual with experience in renewable energy projects (fleet scale EV charging, utility scale solar, geothermal, wind) and who can also work on traditional building systems projects.
Requirements + Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to get licensed
- Experienced in 3D modeling, Revit preferred
- Electrical design for renewable systems which includes power distribution, equipment selection, medium voltage interconnects, as well as data/communications
- Electrical design for building systems which includes power distribution, LED and custom lighting design, Life Safety Systems, as well as data/communications
- Will work under the direction of a senior engineer towards the design and document production efforts of building systems using 3D Revit modeling software
- Will be visiting project construction sites to assist with measuring, data collection and construction observation duties
- Must be able to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail
- Experience with design of renewable energy systems, lighting, power, and low-voltage systems desired
- Experience in Revit is preferred. A desire to learn Autodesk Revit is required
- Have taken and passed, or intent to take, the Professional Engineering (PE) exam
