In this full time, direct hire, salaried job you will support cutting-edge research, development, and prototyping efforts, designing, integrating, and fielding FPGA-based solutions for high-performance embedded systems in Cyber and Electronic Warfare (EW) applications. To qualify for this job you will be a U.S. Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance and 3-5 years of experience in digital logic design, FPGA programming, system integration, and military technology development. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based solutions for advanced Cyber/EW applications. Conduct research and development (R&D), prototyping, and system integration to support mission-critical defense projects. Develop and optimize digital logic designs using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog (C is a bonus). Work closely with hardware engineers, embedded software developers, and RF engineers to integrate FPGA designs into embedded systems. Perform simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and verification of FPGA designs. Develop testbenches and validate designs using industry-standard simulation tools. Optimize FPGA resource utilization and power consumption for performance efficiency. Ensure seamless integration and fielding of FPGA-based military technology and systems. Work on mission-critical defense technology supporting Cyber/EW programs. Hybrid flexibility depending on client approval (Primary work location: Aberdeen Proving Ground). Qualifications: U.S. Citizen with active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance Bachelor degree and 3-5 years of FPGA design and development experience Thorough understanding and at least 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in: Engineering Research & Development (R&D), Prototyping, Integration, Testing, and Fielding of military technology and systems in Cyber/EW programs. Proficient in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog. Experience with FPGA development tools (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, ModelSim). Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for hardware integration.
