What You'll Do
- Conduct site visits to observe, document, collect, and verify existing electrical conditions
- Perform load, voltage drop, and short-circuit calculations; size and specify equipment for power, lighting, and specialty systems
- Design and layout electrical systems including power distribution, fire alarm, data, lighting, and low/medium-voltage systems
- Perform lighting design tasks including photometric calculations, fixture selection and layout, and scheduling
- Route conduit, cable, trays, and breakers accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and clients to ensure scope, budget, and deadlines are met
- Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Track project schedules and coordinate internal/external resources to keep everything on time
- Work under the supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineer with growth and mentorship top of mind
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 1-5 years of professional experience in building electrical systems or MEP design
- EIT certification preferred, or the willingness to pursue it
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or other design software a plus)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A valid Driver's License (or ability to obtain one)
- A proactive attitude and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
