Electrical Designer

We have partnered with a Design Service company in Pittsburgh, PA area to provide them with an Electrical Designer. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized must haves for the Electrical Designer:

. Must have Industrial Design experience.

. Must have advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 3D & 2D.

. Must have the ability to create and interpret motor schematics.

. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years

Requirements of the Electrical Designer:

High school diploma required.
College-level diploma in engineering technology or a related field.
Intermediate working knowledge of CAD systems and software.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical design.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 3D &2D; experience with Revit is a plus.
Experience with motor schematics and industrial electrical layouts.
Ability and willingness to learn new software and applications.
Strong logical and creative thinking skills.
Organized, self-directed, and goal-oriented.
Professional approach to task execution and communication.
Experience in MV/HV power system design (substations, pole lines, relaying, P&C) is a plus.
Knowledge of VFD motor control (LV/MV) specifications/applications is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access).

Other Key Requirements:

In office role
