About the Opportunity:

An award-winning, full-service architecture and engineering firm with over 100 years of history is seeking a motivated Electrical Designer to join its growing team in Lincoln, NE. Known for designing some of Nebraska's most recognized buildings, this firm combines innovation, problem-solving, and thoughtful solutions to deliver exceptional work across healthcare, industrial, education, commercial, and civic sectors.


This newly created position supports a growing electrical department and offers exposure to a wide range of project types. It's an excellent opportunity for a designer with 4-7 years of experience who is passionate about developing construction-ready designs and growing toward a senior role in a collaborative, stable environment.


Compensation & Perks: Earn a base salary of $75,000-$85,000, plus an annual bonus up to 10%, profit sharing around 10%, top-tier health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid overtime, and a benefits package that rewards your success and growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop lighting, power, and low-voltage systems for new construction and renovation projects.
  • Create detailed construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare technical documentation and assist with cost estimating.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in electrical design.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree in Computer-Aided Design/Drafting or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, industrial, or commercial building projects.
  • RCDD certification or low-voltage system expertise is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 (depending on experience)
  • Annual Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary, based on company performance
  • Profit Sharing & Employee Ownership Contributions: Approximately 10% annually
  • 401(k) Match: 25 cents on the dollar, up to 6% of salary
  • Paid Overtime (time and a half)
