About the Role: LHH is seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our Hardware Engineering team. This role involves providing design and document support for the development of Battery Storage Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare site plans, electrical diagrams, and detailed drawings using CAD/MicroStation/SolidWorks Draft Sight in 2D and 3D.
- Generate point maps for hardwired and digital I/O for control systems.
- Develop single line diagrams, layouts, and schematics.
- Create spatial layouts using map importing of KMZ and SHP files.
- Establish and maintain company standards for drafting.
- Manage project-specific BOMs in collaboration with the Manufacturing team.
- Oversee the internal lessons learned database.
- Support the generation of drawings for RFIs and RFPs.
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy and efficiency.
- Work independently with minimal guidance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in CAD (2D & 3D).
- Familiarity with US Industry Standards (ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, NEC, UL).
- Experience in Electrical Design for Constructability.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in engineering technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Travel:
- Occasional travel within North America (less than 10%).
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with some physical requirements.

- Hourly pay rate of up to $38.00 per hour.
