We re looking for an accomplished Electrical Design Project Manager within the construction and the MEP space to join a well-established building services team in a key leadership role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on technically complex high-impact projects across sectors such as healthcare, science and research while helping shape the future of both your team and the built environment.

As a Electrical Design Project Manager, you ll be at the forefront of project delivery, client engagement and technical leadership. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on your team, your clients and the wider industry.

This Senior Electrical Design Manager role is hybrid working 2 - 3 days in the office and the rest from home.

Key Responsibilities for this Electrical Design Project Manager role:

  • Leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary design projects from inception through to delivery
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, developing strong and lasting relationships
  • Coordinating teams and consultants to deliver projects that meet technical, commercial, and sustainability targets
  • Supporting and mentoring engineers within the local team to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Managing resources effectively to maintain profitability and quality across multiple schemes
  • Playing an active role in proposals, bids and business development

What They re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in electrical engineering for the built environment
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
  • Demonstrated experience in a team leadership role able to manage, motivate, and delegate confidently
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems with a broad understanding of other building services disciplines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with experience delivering high-value projects on time and on budget
  • Competence in relevant software and industry tools
