What you will do
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant electromechanical systems , this position is crucial in ensuring optimal plant uptime. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment. Effectively troubleshoot and repair complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery. Install, maintain , and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
Administrative Duties: Complete and maintain required paperwork, records, and documentation. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Assist in the electromechanical technician training program. Participate on cross-functional teams to improve processes, methods, productivity, and quality while reducing costs.
What you need to have
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex documents, operate /maintain electrical and mechanical testing equipment, use precision measuring equipment, and operate hand and power tools. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and experience with welding/torch equipment.
Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs., and ability to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
