The GEOAxIS system is instrumental in providing Identity, Credential, and Access Management for all web applications. This platform allows for on-demand access to NGA GEOINT content based on users' roles and attributes. Our mission is to ensure robust ICAM services that protect critical mission applications across various security domains. The GxNext contract, awarded to Leidos in 2021, is set to run until 2031.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate in designing, developing, and implementing log analytics and infrastructure monitoring solutions utilizing the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, and Kibana) for our ICAM system.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrading of Elastic clusters and environments with guidance from senior engineers.
- Support efforts in optimizing Elasticsearch infrastructure and configuration to enhance cluster health and search performance.
- Work closely with other developers to integrate the Elastic stack into the existing ICAM framework.
- Help resolve installation, infrastructure, data flow, and log ingestion challenges in both development and production settings.
- Perform daily administrative tasks for Elasticsearch clusters and environments.
- Engage in an Agile environment by estimating features and user stories, as well as contributing to sprint planning.
- Support the implementation of DevSecOps practices with the development of automated CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements/Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with less than 2 years of prior experience.
- Background as a software developer, integrator, administrator, or in a similar technical role.
- Active Top Secret clearance is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Must comply with DoD-8570/8140 level 2 standards.
- Familiarity with deploying and managing Elasticsearch clusters and using Kibana.
- Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques, performance tuning, and cluster health management for Elasticsearch environments.
- Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior engineers.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning in the field.
Preferred: - Elastic Certified Engineer.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to production environments with emphasis on uptime and availability.
- Basic understanding or experience with identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) technologies.

Pay Range: Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
