Job Number 693430BR Description:What We're Doing Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. The Work In this vital role, you will be: -Integrating, configuring and automating the installation of the Elastic Stack with the existing set of Cyber Tools on the C2BMC system.
-Verifying the Elastic Stack meets contractual requirements.
-Documenting the installation and delivering installation instructions to deploy the Elastic Stack
-Installing, deploying, and unit testing other Cyber Tools such as ACAS, ArcSight, BigFix, Delinea, Endgame, ESS, Axway Repeater, and Responder for Windows MFA in National Team (NT) labs, the C2BMC Testbed (CTB), and Operations.
-Developing and verifying installation instructions for Cyber Tools and Vendor Patches
-Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
-Managing and addressing any Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs) related to the Cyber Tools.
-Collaborating with local Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.
-Working with various C2BMC teams to ensure compatibility and seamless integration of Cyber Tools within the larger system.
-Documenting and verifying of all installation and configuration steps for the labs and operations deliveries
-Providing feedback to Cyber Leadership and engineers to improve the cybersecurity tools and processes. Please Note: This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level prior to start; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of professional experience.
-Active DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start
-DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or higher)
-Proven experience with integration and maintenance of Elastic Stack
-A strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.
Desired Skills:
-Bachelor's degree with 5 years related experience or Master's degree and 3 years related experience
-Experience with integration of any of the following is a plus: ACAS, ArcSight, BigFix, Delinea, ESS, Axway Repeater, Responder for Windows MFA, and ICAP.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.
-Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
-Configuring Logstash pipelines to ingest and enrich logs
-Creating Kibana dashboards for real-time monitoring of security events and tool performance. -Automating Elastic Stack deployments using Ansible for scalability and consistency is a plus
-Proficiency in installing, configuring, and deploying one or more of the following cybersecurity tools: ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) Vulnerability scanning and compliance assessment, BigFix, Delinea, Privileged access management (PAM), Log analysis and threat hunting using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), ESS (Trellix), Axway Repeater/Responder for Windows, MFA (Multi-factor authentication) implementation.
-Experience with deploying tools in Windows and Linux environments, including virtualized or containerized setups (e.g., VMware, Docker).
-Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues during testing, including root cause analysis and error reporting. -Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate test cases and validate outputs.
-Expertise in applying vendor patches for cybersecurity tools and underlying systems (Windows, Linux). -Knowledge of vulnerability management processes, including analyzing Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices. -Ability to develop, verify, and document installation instructions for patches to ensure repeatability and compliance.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
