My client specializes in the design and production of high-performance filtration systems across multiple industries. Their products include filters for healthcare, life sciences, automotive, industrial, and environmental markets. They develop solutions for air, liquid, and gas filtration, along with membrane technology that helps ensure product purity and process efficiency.



Description

  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements, maintaining all permits and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Perform regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections of equipment and processes to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and conduct safety training programs, ensuring all employees are educated on EHS best practices, emergency response, and safe work procedures.
  • Manage the reporting and investigation of accidents or near-miss incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative measures.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety protocols and environmental practices by evaluating current procedures and driving enhancements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, production, and maintenance to ensure safety and sustainability goals are met.
  • Oversee proper waste disposal, hazardous materials management, and energy efficiency initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of operations.

Profile

  • B.S. in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or Safety Engineering
  • 3-5+ years safety experience
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industry Hygienist) or comparable certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations
  • Have strong communication, written and computer skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with Regulatory Agencies such as, OSHA, EPA, DOT and others as appropriate Professional Certification CSP/ASP/CHST preferred.
