An automotive parts manufacturer near the Circleville, OH area is searching for an EHS Coordinator to join their facility. The ideal candidate will have previous EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time day shift position - with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Research, planning, and implementation of improved safety standards and procedures
- Communicate internally and externally in an effort to ensure any unsafe working conditions are properly identified and resolved
- Documentation of safety / environmental hazard incidents and follow-up
- Monitoring of potential environmental hazards and assistance with incident prevention
- Planning and executing safety & environmental audits
- Keep up to date with changes in local and federal regulations for safety and environmental standards
- Coordination of regular EHS training for company employees
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in an Environmental Health and Safety-related field preferred, OR equivalent training and work experience
- Valid OSHA and / or similar Health & Safety certification is preferred
- Ideally 4-5 years of related work experience in EHS functions, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 is a big plus
- Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
- Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
