Job Description:

The EHR Analyst supports, maintains, and enhances EHR applications, working with business users, developers, and vendors to ensure applications meet stakeholder needs

Essential Functions:
  • Configure, customize, and test software applications.
  • Gather user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Analyze existing software systems and suggest improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis, assess complex situations, seek collaborative solutions and prepare and present recommendations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of applications.
  • Communicate major incidents to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage support tickets, meeting SLA standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physician practices as well as third party vendors.
  • Maintains confidentiality and ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
This Position is a Full Time - Hybrid work environment with potential travel up to 50% of the time.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • An established track record of leading successful, large-scale projects in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing, Excel, Access and project management software & tools.
  • Experience working with physicians and physician office staff.
  • Experience working with Ambulatory EHR software and vendors.
  • Experience with Medical Billing processes from claims submissions to accounts receivables.
  • Knowledge of provider office workflow processes, healthcare delivery systems and healthcare trends.
  • Knowledge of government programs related to the adoption and use of health information systems including: MIPS, MSSP ACO, and Health Information Exchange.
  • Knowledge of business and project management principles.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methods, tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the Health Information Technology environment, including legislation, HIT vendors and local environmental characteristics.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of (3) three years of working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) in an Analyst Role
  • Minimum of (3) three years managing software implementations and configurations.
  • Minimum of (1) year in an application support role
  • Experience in leading successful, large-scale projects in a healthcare setting

Salary Range:

$90-110,000
