Education Health and Care (EHC) Coordinator: Applications Close 12th May.

Location: Hybrid - Council Office & within the Authority.

Salary: 31,283 - 37,181 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking for experienced EHCP Coordinators to join our client's SEND and Inclusion Service.

In this hybrid role, you will work within the Local Authority, ensuring high-quality Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) are produced for young people aged 0-25.

  • Manage EHCP processes including maintenance, reviews, and amendments, while ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, health and social care professionals to tailor EHCPs to individual needs.
  • Ensure EHCPs align with the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
  • Act as a key contact for families, offering guidance and maintaining a transparent and fair process.
  • Maintain accurate records, track progress, and identify areas for service improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience working with EHCPs, including pre or post-14 education.
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and processes.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with families, education providers, and professionals.
