Join our dynamic and growing Payroll Team as a Payroll Administrator and play a key role in supporting the payroll function within our fast-paced business environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing vital day-to-day payroll support and acting as the first point of contact for all payroll-related queries. Your accuracy, discretion, and keen eye for detail will be essential in ensuring smooth and compliant payroll operations, as well as maintaining clear and well-organised records.

What you'll do:
Accurately prepare, process, and administer payroll in a timely manner, ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met.
Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related queries from employees and line managers, delivering prompt and accurate support.
Provide exceptional employee and manager support, fostering positive relationships across the organisation.
Ensure full compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including accurate processing of:
New starters, leavers, employee transfers, and contractual amendments
Pension contributions and associated documentation
Statutory payments such as maternity, paternity, parental leave, and statutory sick pay (SSP)
Manage and maintain the time and attendance system, ensuring accurate recording of employee hours.
Set up new employee profiles and process updates to existing records within the timekeeping system.
Review and validate approved working hours and timesheets to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
Conduct detailed checks of payslips and payroll reports during the validation process, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors prior to final payroll submission.

What we are looking for:
At least 1 year of hands-on payroll experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of payroll processes and systems.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, line managers, and external stakeholders.
Intermediate - to advanced excel and data analytic skills.
