Job Description: The Student Success and Educational Testing Center Coordinator is responsible for overall supervision of the Educational Testing Center, including administering tests, inputting test information, monitoring lab usage, collaborating with technology group in maintaining software and hardware, and assisting students with problems in the lab.
The Educational Testing Center Coordinator also plays an important role in helping with Highlander Success Center retention efforts. One of those efforts includes calling students who have been flagged by professors and connecting them with a resource or resources needed to help them be successful. There are numerous retention initiatives throughout each term.
The ETC coordinator also provides support to the Academic Support Services office to include special projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: - Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
- Skilled in the use of personal computers and software applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to be punctual and reliable.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience providing programmatic and/or administrative support in an academic or professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in education, especially in a computerized testing environment.
- Experience with troubleshooting minor hardware and software issues.
- Experience with Desire to Learn Learning Management Systems.
- Experience with assignment tools e.g. Respondus Suite and SafeAssign.
- Experience with Faronics, Starfish, and video/web conferencing applications e.g. Zoom and Teams.
