Education and Training Specialist Location: Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI As an Education and Training Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) education and training efforts. The role involves conducting administrative, assessment, accreditation, and training functions to enhance the effectiveness and compliance of Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Education and Training (EMS E&T) programs. Who You Are and What You Need: Minimum of six (6) years' experience in an EMSO related field Minimum of three (3) years' experience utilizing a learning management system (LMS) to track training Minimum of five (5) years working knowledge in using the following software programs to perform requirements that use office automation: Windows, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel Basic understanding of instrumental system design (ISD) model Basic understanding of course certification procedures What You Will Do: Education Operations Conduct administrative functions required to conduct joint force (JF) Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) education. Access Joint EMS E&T programs, events, and activities, and Accredit formal Joint EMS E&T programs Administrative Functions Course registrar duties Student and instructor management Coordinate IT and security to ensure students can access the facilities as well as networks Assign and track ancillary training for all JEWC members Assessment Functions Define formal EMA training programs Identify EMA formal training programs that meet definition Define Joint EMS E&T content for Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Identify JPME courses that require EMS components Incorporate approved Joint EMS content into JPME courses Develop assessment methodologies Identify gaps in current Joint EMS curriculum Accreditation Functions Assist with accreditation activities Provide subject matter expertise to ensure JEWC courses are in compliance with statutory and policy requirements and effectiveness in achieving learning objectives. Training, Contingency and Exercise Support Research and gather specific EMSO-related data for exercise scenario development and the exercise M&S databases, to include the identification and collection of relevant data sources (documents, reports, etc.). Analyze and interpret EMS-related data to inform exercise scenario development and JEMSOC operations. Develop and maintain databases and tools to support EMS-related intelligence functions. Develop and maintain the Modeling and Simulation (M&S) database in support of Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) Combatant Command (CCMD) Joint Event Lifecycle (JELC) activities. The M&S database will be used to support CCMD/JS federation of models and simulation during the JELC and will require refinement to support specific CCMD/JS exercise scenarios. Operate the federation of models and simulations during CCMD/JS Tier 1 exercise executions. Ensure seamless integration of models and simulations to support realistic and effective exercise scenarios. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during exercise executions. Support assessments of Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Cell (JEMSOC) activities during the JELC. Analyze data and provide recommendations for improving JEMSOC operations and exercise scenarios. Develop reports and briefings to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Provide administrative support to the Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Center (JEWC), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Center (JEC), and on-going CCMD JELC activities. Assist in obtaining, entering, and updating relevant information required to establish baseline DoD databases for CCMD/JS federation of models and simulations during the JELC. Refine databases to support specific CCMD/JS exercise scenarios.
