  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions with partner organizations to ensure schools have high-quality, relevant materials and support.

Relationship Building & Strategic Outreach:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with school district administrators, school boards, and education professionals across the Greater Philadelphia region.
  • Proactively engage schools and educators to assess their needs and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Represent the JCRC and Federation at educational forums, coalition meetings, and school-based events.

Community Coordination & Resource Alignment:

  • Coordinate the collective efforts of Jewish communal organizations that offer educational programming, ensuring strategic alignment and reducing duplication.
  • Maintain a directory of vetted programs, speakers, and curricula, and advise schools on selecting resources with the greatest impact and credibility.
  • Act as a liaison between schools and organizations such as ADL, AJC, StandWithUs, and local Holocaust education partners.

Policy Advocacy & Educational Integration:

  • Advocate for the inclusion of antisemitism education, Holocaust education, and accurate information about Israel in public and private school curricula.
  • Support district-level efforts to adopt and implement inclusive policies that protect Jewish students and staff.

Team Collaboration & Federation Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the full JCRC team to ensure education efforts align with broader strategic priorities.
  • Provide support to other Jewish Federation departments and initiatives, as needed.
  • Contribute to Federation events, communications, and stakeholder briefings.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, Jewish studies, public affairs, or a related field (Master's preferred), or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in education, professional development, or program coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience working with educators and/or school leadership.
  • Deep understanding of issues related to antisemitism, Jewish identity, and Israel.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, including the ability to lead projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • A collaborative spirit and openness to diverse perspectives.
  • A proactive, polished, and diplomatic approach to community engagement.

If you are passionate about empowering educators, advocating for Jewish students, and advancing inclusive education, we encourage you to apply for the JCRC Education Manager position.
