Volt is immediately hiring for Editorial Coordinator in Santa Monica, CA.
As a Editorial Coordinator you will:
Coordinate across teams the localization of editorial content, working directly with localization teams
CMS preparation of all editorial content
Distribution of editorial communications, when needed
Content & project coordination for editorial development
Receive and track requests, working with internal teams and external agencies to provide both editorial copy and assets to internal and external customers
Track changes and feedback, update on deadline risks
Distribute assets across internal teams
Folder structure maintenance and archival responsibilities
Support team to ensure client deliverables are on-time and within budget
Quality control as last line of defense before editorial content is published
Lead franchise traffic meetings updating progress on current requests
Maintain documentation, calendar and records of approvals and feedback on editorial copy and assets
Coordinate internal and external client meeting logistics, prepare meeting materials, take meeting minutes, and update weekly status reports
Effectively and efficiently disseminate material and information to team members
Coordinating conversations between editorial and localization teams to streamline cross-functional process
This is a hybrid opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
A passion for games
Enthusiasm to play and thoroughly understand video games
BA/BS in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, English or Journalism preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of copywriting or journalism experience, video game industry preferred
Proficient on Adobe software suit, including expertise in capturing screenshots
Excellent verbal and written skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Reader, CMS systems, and other web-based content systems and software
Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of business functions and team leads
Detail-oriented, self-directed skills including ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, including adaptability to fluid and last-minute changes
Pay Rate: $30.16 an hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
