Description

Equashield LLC is a growing medical device company leading the US market in closed system transfer devices (CSTDs). The company mission is to protect healthcare workers from exposure when compounding or administering hazardous drugs.

Our Port Washington office is looking for a Full-time EDI Administrator to take the lead on all of our EDI processes. We offer a full benefits package and a hybrid schedule for FT employees along with additional perks available for onsite employees.

Essential job functions and responsibilities
  • Execute daily operational tasks necessary to transmit and receive EDI transactions, and troubleshoot transmission errors working in conjunction with our customers.
  • Experience in SQL Server
  • Basic understanding of various communication methods / protocols, e.g. sFTP, AS2 and Value Added Network (VAN).
  • Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot errors identify and resolve problems related to EDI processes and applications.
  • Maintain and Support processing of EDI transactions using the Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12, Finance and Supply Chain standards, 850,855,810,856 865, 820, 832, 844, 845, and 849 transaction sets.
  • Coordinate with new and existing customers as well as third party EDI to analyze specifications, design and develop maps, establish communication protocols, and lead testing and onboarding activities.
  • Monitor EDI team mailbox, respond to requests and file correspondence accordingly.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and triage for production issues to resolve.
  • Update and provide weekly/monthly incident and EDI Transaction and volume reports.
  • Provide support to all client issues and document standard operating procedures according to data requirements. Prepare all documents according to required guidelines, update and create procedures to keep documentation current.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation following system outages and critical incidents.
  • Coordinate activities including on-time delivery, testing, and production deployments.
Requirements

Education and Training

Bachelor's degree required.

Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Data/EDI analytics.
  • Boomi developer or experienced 3 years.
  • Experience with SAP Business ByDesign or other large enterprise resource planning software
  • Experience with SQL required.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage virtual meetings effectively.
  • Goal-oriented, proven track record of achieving goals, and completing projects on time and budget.
  • Emotional intelligence, calm when under pressure.
  • Proven effective organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Complex decision-making skills required.
