Overview
Assists in the administration of Benetrac's electronic data transfer processes which connects the client's private information to their various trading partners via BeneTrac's EDI tools.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge in using BeneTrac EDI tools and methods to handle private and confidential data with absolute security.
- Performs the set up of routine and structured data feeds between trading partners, clients and the BeneTrac system enabling accurate and timely flow of information.
- Sets up on-going data transfer feeds between the BeneTrac system and other computer systems, entities or persons to support the client's needs.
- Maintains accurate records of all business activities associated with file transfers and updates the Site/Connection Stages within the project management system.
- Keeps accurate notes within the project management system detailing progress on each assigned stage in order to provide open communication to all parties and update any existing routing process steps for future use.
- Answer routine client, trading partner and internal support staff questions related to data transfer feeds from both internal and external customers by referencing existing policies and procedures.
- Follows up on test files sent to trading partners and clients and tracks progress of multiple connections to ensure proper connectivity for the client.
- Through phone contact, cultivates relationships with trading partner contacts to facilitate job completion related to EDI.
- Communicates with trading partners and clients to perform requirements gathering, setup data communication, and integration testing, to ensure proper connectivity for the client.
- Interfaces with members of other internal departments to facilitate EDI related project completion.
- Communicates and hands off problems and issues to the effected parties which may be internal support groups or external trading partners or customers in order to raise awareness of EDI issues.
Qualifications

- 2 years of experience in Client service or an IT related support function.
- Human Resources/Employee Benefits experience desirable.
