Responsibilities Our organization is hiring and we're looking for an EDI Analyst to join our team and establish a rewarding career with us.
  • Implement state-reporting requirements for Workers' Compensation Claims EDI
  • Monitor states for updates or implementations to Workers' Compensation Claims EDI reporting requirements
  • Analyze IAIABC standards and state-specific Claims EDI requirements and ensure claim system reflects all required reportable data features
  • Champion EDI internal system changes with programming and Business Systems
  • Partner with programming and Business Systems to ensure system compliance with Claims EDI reporting.
  • Work with adjusters to address reporting errors timely to avoid state issued penalties
  • Collaborate with the state EDI contacts to resolve any issues with Claims EDI reporting.
  • Maintain Claims EDI Trading Partner Agreements with individual states.
  • Analyze EDI system errors to determine root causes and work with programming and Business Systems to address current errors and prevent future errors
  • Test new programming deployments for EDI updates
  • Provide adjusters with overview Claims EDI errors and provide ongoing adjuster training to improve compliance
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal (supervisors and adjusters) and external partners (jurisdictional staff and IAIABC committees) to establish trust, knowledge, and effective communication regarding Claims EDI reporting
  • Identify error trends and collaborate with parties, internal and/or external, to develop a strategy to decrease and prevent system errors
  • Analyze EDI state generated penalties to determine the root cause and identify trends, and then create action plans to assist in reducing and preventing penalties
Qualifications
  • IAIABC Claims EDI reporting standards with 0-3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of multiple state-reporting requirements for WC Claims EDI
  • FROI/SROI experience
  • Ability to query and analyze data
  • Ability to engage with IT and system programmers to improve EDI process, efficiency and state compliance
  • Ability to manually address system errors and recommend program/system changes to prevent future errors
  • IT and/or system programming experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Salary Range

$55,000.00-$75,000.00 USD

The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.

The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
