Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with the perm staff

Floating Requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC EDs as needed. First to float, could float to sister facility Mercy Gilbert
Beds CRMC 60 ED Beds, MGMC 31 ED Beds
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele
Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians' orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical.
Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.)
Additional Notes: Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital.
Additional Questions: May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
