Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey in a supportive and inspiring setting? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs?

We are currently working with a well-regarded SEN secondary school in Sefton that is seeking multiple ECTs to join their dedicated team this September. The school caters to pupils with a range of needs, including autism (ASC), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and complex learning profiles.



Subject Specialisms Needed:

  • English

  • Maths

  • Science

  • PE

  • ICT

  • Humanities

  • Art / Design Technology

Whether your passion lies in core subjects or creative disciplines, there's a place for you to thrive and develop your practice.



The Role:

  • Full-time teaching position within a specialist SEN setting

  • Delivering accessible and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

  • Collaborating with experienced support staff and SEN professionals

  • Promoting a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Benefitting from a supportive ECT induction and professional development



What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it by July 2025

  • A genuine interest in SEN education and a commitment to inclusive teaching

  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude

  • Ability to inspire, support, and motivate pupils with diverse needs
