E-Commerce Website Manager
We are seeking an E-Commerce Website Manager to join our marketing team. As the ecomm manager, you'll implement optimization initiatives that enhance the customer journey and manage our Magento-based website operations to engage, educate, and convert visitors. More importantly, you'll have a hand in shaping our website to ensure we make buying a suppressor the easiest and fastest way possible.
You'll report to and work collaboratively with the Director of Ecommerce to optimize our customers' UX and improve customer and revenue growth. This role will also work with other key internal and external teams to help deliver a great digital retail experience.
The ideal candidate is as effective at optimizing and maintaining a Magento ecommerce site as they are at delivering timely quips. And the candidate has a passion for good UX as they do the Second Amendment. The candidate should also be eager to join a team that is always in each other's corner, share a can-do attitude, and live by radical candor.
What You'll Do
Drive Strategic Growth
Collaborate with leadership to implement quarterly optimization roadmap and execute revenue growth initiatives.
Analyze user behavior data and customer journey analytics to identify tactical optimization opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Track and report on essential ecommerce KPIs to the Director of Ecommerce with actionable insights.
Increase new visitor acquisition and conversion.
Boost our customer UX and improve checkout conversion rates.
Champion Customer Experience
Work collaboratively with our internal engineering team to optimize the site for customers and conversions.
Partner with various Agencies of Record (AOR) for implementations and troubleshooting issues on the site to improve customer acquisition, site UX, and revenue growth.
Design and implement customer feedback loops using tools and techniques like user testing and post-purchase surveys to identify friction points and improve UX.
Technical Implementation
Own daily front-end Magento website operations and technical updates.
Work with developers and external partners to diagnose and resolve site bugs and performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
Lead product catalog management and optimization by working with internal teams and manufacturing partners to update and optimize content on the site.
Manage the creation of promotional campaigns and landing pages.
Support technical SEO implementations, including content optimizations and site structure improvements, in alignment with the Director's SEO strategy.
Ensure site performance meets or exceeds industry standards.
Required Skills & Experience
-must have some interest or experience with firearms/firearm industry
3+ years experience managing ecommerce platforms, preferably Magento
Experience managing relationships with technical vendors/partners
Proven track record of improving ecommerce conversion rates
Strong handle on ecommerce and retail trends to drive revenue growth
Experience in UX/UI best practices
2+ years experience with Google Analytics 4, GTM, Looker Studio
Ability to track and report on data with actionable insights
Knowledge of e-commerce KPIs and metrics
Project management capabilities
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understanding of schema markup and structured data for SEO
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
Location, Leander, TX (in office only)
Compensation Range (based on skillset): $85,000 - $100,000
