Job Summary: Join us as an
Ecommerce Solutions Architect (SpringBoot & React) in a long-term contract position. This role offers you the opportunity to work predominantly onsite in San Francisco, CA (4 days per week).
Key Responsibilities: - Bring an architectural visionary mindset with a comprehensive understanding of business needs and technologies.
- Implement best practices and architectural patterns while considering non-functional requirements.
- Produce production-quality code and develop proof of concepts when needed.
- Utilize 10+ years of technology experience, including 3+ years in Microservices (Java/Spring Boot) and proficiency in a NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Work with RDBMS (such as Oracle or MySQL), Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and possess experience in Kafka event processing.
- Demonstrate Front-End development skills with ReactJS or Angular, along with familiarity in iOS/Android app development.
- Interact with Java-based Content Management Systems (like Contentful or Contentstack) and establish content modeling.
- Manage the heavy processing of data utilizing Spark, Scala, or Python in Databricks/Snowflake.
- Utilize knowledge of Digital/e-commerce platforms (like ATG) specifically in shopping, content management, checkout, and payment processes.
- Have a background in the retail industry, e-commerce, or consumer-facing experiences, with a preference for personalization concepts.
- Be open to learning new technologies, demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
Essential Qualifications: - Proficient in Java Fullstack Development with strong experience in microservices, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
- Experience with Content Management Systems, particularly Contentful or Contentstack.
- Background in the Retail or Ecommerce sector is crucial.
