POSITION: E- Commerce & Merchandising Specialist - Fixed Term
LOCATION : New York City, NY
HOURS: Part-Time (20 hours/week for 13 weeks)
COMPENSATION: $30 per hour
ABOUT THE POSITION This role is based at the New York City office, where you'll report to the Sr. eCommerce & Performance Manager and be responsible for content collection, management, and placement for a new website build. You'll also work closely with various departments across the business, including ticketing, marketing, product, and venue teams.
This role is for an engaged and enthusiastic eCommerce professional with previous experience working in a fast-paced eCommerce or digital merchandising environment. This role will be responsible for the initial content placement and testing of new website pages, day-to-day management and optimization of ATG websites, and supporting the set-up of shows and events on sale. The role also entails coordinating project requirements and working with internal teams to deliver plans to agreed timelines.
PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS Website Content Placement and Management - Responsible for populating site pages using different content management systems, ensuring content and creative assets are accurate and current.
- Responsible for site merchandise, including copywriting and asset management (artwork and videos) across all website pages related to the project.
- Support venue teams with online requests and updates to keep website pages up-to-date and to align with business objectives.
- Maintaining the overall site to ensure optimal conversion and a seamless customer journey.
- Collaborating with analysts to ensure proper pixel placement and tracking.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
- Build landing pages focusing on UX, content optimization, and site merchandising.
- Develop close working relationships with channel owners to ensure all deliverables are met and project planning is communicated and organized well.
- Use web analytics tools to monitor and evaluate site performance to provide valuable insights for future improvements and customer engagement.
- Optimize images and videos for web performance and page speed
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Experience with content management systems such as Contentful and Umbraco.
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop and Figma.
- SEO best practices
- Experience in project management and coordinating multiple priority projects.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and understanding of marketing pixel tracking on websites.
- Any eCommerce app experience would be advantageous, specifically for app content (both web view and native app)
