Your Job:

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Noninvasive Cardiology, the Echo Tech I performs all echocardiograms to include 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Pulse Wave Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Stress Eco and other related examinations according to established standards and practices.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the employee is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography, may be substituted for the ARDMS

• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required

• Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred

• Current Basic Life Support required
