Role: Early Years Nursery Manager - Shooting Stars Nursery Kings Norton, B30 3QJ
This is a full-time Nursery Manager role based at Shooting Stars Nursery, Kings Norton. The Nursery Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, lead staff, and work in partnership with families.
Minimum experience and qualification requirements to apply:
- Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience working in an Early Years setting, including experience in a manager or deputy manager role.
- Minimum full and relevant Early Years Level 3 or above childcare qualification as recognized by the Department for Education.
- Knowledge and experience of delivering the EYFS, Ofsted inspections, and working with children with Special Educational Needs.
Salary: £38,000 per annum

- A genuine passion for early years education, ensuring high-quality care and teaching.
- Strong communication skills: professionalism, confidence, and ability to engage effectively with parents, carers, children, and staff.
- Effective leadership and management abilities: responsible for all aspects of nursery management, including staff training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Safeguarding knowledge and skills: responsible for safeguarding, health and safety practices, child protection, and maintaining accurate records.
- Nursery management experience: leading a team, implementing performance strategies, and ensuring service excellence.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and child development.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
