Were seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as part-time Teacher Assistants in the Kendall Classroom at our Early Learning Center located in Kendall, NY.

PAY RATE: $15.50/hour
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time, non-exempt

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with the Lead Teacher to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences based on the Creative Curriculum, customized to the childrens individual interests and developmental needs.
Maintain ongoing communication with families through the Playground App, helping to keep them informed and involved in their child's growth and daily activities.
Build strong, positive connections with children using the CLASS framework to create a supportive and respectful learning environment.
Contribute to a safe, healthy classroom and center environment by following ECERS/ITERS guidelines and supporting each childs education, well-being, and security.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You are at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with children under 13 is a plus, but not required we value passion and willingness to learn.
Youll need to pass a complete background screening including fingerprinting, reference checks, and SEL & SCR clearance through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
Medically cleared to perform all job duties and free from communicable diseases, including TB.
Friendly, positive, and dependable with excellent communication skills for working with children, families, and fellow staff members.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, moving, and staying active throughout the day with young children.
