is Hiring a Snowsports School Administrative Coordinator.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for an outgoing detail-oriented person that has experience using point of sale systems, enjoys interacting with the public and has guest service experience in the ski, outdoor recreation or travel industry. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast pace dynamically changing work environment.

Most of you customers are local Juneau residents that you will be assisting multiple times throughout the season. WORKING HOURS AND LOCATIONYou will be working in the Porcupine Lodge front office during the Eaglecrest Operating season. Your work week will generally be in the fall Monday-Friday 8am- 4pm and during the winter season Wednesday through Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm Working weekends and holidays are mandatory. There will be opportunities to work overtime during holiday periods.
Typical Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing guests with information on all Snowsports School products & programs and all other Eaglecrest information for quality guest services. Assist Director and SSS supervisor in training Snowsports School Sales staff. You will become an expert using all aspects of the complex point of sale system to support the Snowsports School, Rental and Retail Shop. This will include selling all products, reservations, programs, lockers, cabin rentals, waivers, all guest transactions, and tracking. You will be responsible for proper use of the credit card processing portal, performing end of the day sales reconciliations, filing any associated transmittals, and recording daily lesson sales into tracking sheets. Supports Rental with contracts, season rental manifest and unaccompanied minor forms to ensure quality guest services. Supports Community Outreach Manager with Homeschool registrations, School group registrations and communications to guests. Supports Retail & Repair when needed. Assist with training, scheduling Snowsports Admin staff and leading SSS Administrative staff on daily tasks and duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:

Two (2) years of clerical experience that included cash handling and the use of Microsoft Office products.

Substitution:

Post-secondary education may be substituted for the required experience.
