Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Computer Systems Programmer to provide technical guidance and expert support for the ePermitting and ProjectDox applications, which are commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products. The candidate will modify existing software and develop complex special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications. The ePermitting application is part of the Tyler Technologies suite of products, specifically EnerGov (Enterprise Permitting & License). ePermitting is an online portal used to manage permits, plans, invoices, and inspections. ProjectDox is an online tool for submitting, reviewing, and approving engineering drawings and documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to modify existing software and develop complex special-purpose database procedures to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
  • Works within cross-functional teams and provides life-cycle support of COTS applications including application life-cycle planning, application maintenance, operational support, and end-user support (e.g., responding to ad-hoc end-user requests for application enhancements, and custom programs and reports development).
  • Supports commercial-off-the-shelf products: ePermitting and ProjectDox.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to elicit requirements and processes.
  • Designs software solutions that adhere to programming best practices.
  • Develops customized database programs to enhance COTS products.
  • Performs unit testing to validate solutions and assists with user acceptance testing.
  • Follows change management procedures to migrate new solutions to Production.
  • Provides production support by troubleshooting and resolving identified issues.
  • Follows service level agreement (SLA) metrics when resolving production issues.
  • Collaborates with IT team to deliver secure solutions on schedule and on budget.
  • Mitigates security vulnerabilities by working with IT Security and COTS vendors.
  • Works with COTS vendors to support, maintain, and upgrade applications.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical field.
  • Six (6) years minimum of relevant experience with any of the following: SQL programming languages, SQL Server Management Studio, (SSMS), SharePoint, ServiceNow, SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS), Crystal Reports, Office products (Word, Excel).
  • Experience working with a variety of operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and mainframe.
  • Experience in Verifying accuracy and completeness of programs through data preparation and testing.
  • Ability to translate program flowcharts into coded instructions for modern IT systems.
  • Ability to design programs, flowcharts, and diagrams to optimize data processing and computation.
  • Proven experience in developing solutions for business, management, and strategic IT challenges.
Highly Desired Experience:
  • Experience with EnerGov (Enterprise Permitting & License).
  • Experience with ePermitting and ProjectDox applications.
Clearance:
  • The ability to successfully pass a background check is needed for this position.
