The Role
- A Media Developer (Generalist) will support the development of Customer Training electronic materials, primarily media content for courseware products.
- This involves close collaboration with the Instructional Design Team to translate storyboards into high-quality training media content.
- The Media Developer should be comfortable using engineering data and technical references during media development.
- Development must adhere to style guides and standards to ensure consistent media outputs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop training media as specified by the Instructional Design Team, taking ownership of tasks, monitoring quality and progress, and reporting as needed.
- Participate in team discussions, applying guidance and following development processes.
- Ensure compliance with the development plan, schedule, and documentation.
- Utilise relevant tools (e.g., LCMS) as directed by the business.
- Liaise with stakeholders.
- Support governance activities as required.
- Manage time and cost reporting with support if needed.
- Follow business policies on attendance, timekeeping, expenses, professional conduct, security, and commercial considerations.
- Report task progress to senior team members or the Media Capability Engineering Manager.
What are BAE Systems looking for from you?
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Intermediate experience with Articulate Storyline 360.
- Comfortable creating 2D vector and raster graphics.
- Ability to use technical and engineering source data for media development.
Security Requirements
This role requires you to hold or be eligible for Security Clearance (SC). You will need to pass a BPSS check. You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived/worked in the UK for at least 5 years. Contact us if unsure about eligibility.
