We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced E&I Technician to join our dynamic team in the Sugar Manufacturing industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. As an E&I Technician, you will become an integral part of our team, where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical and instrumentation equipment. If you are a dedicated, innovative, and detail-oriented professional with a solid background in Motors, PLCs, Process Sensors, Transmitters, Controllers, and 480 volts, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain, install, and troubleshoot various types of electrical and instrumentation equipment including Motors, PLCs, Process Sensors, Transmitters, and Controllers.
2. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
3. Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement process improvements.
5. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and regulations.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
7. Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
8. Participate in emergency response and on-call rotation as required.
9. Assist with the training and development of junior technicians.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an E&I Technician in the industrial manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of Motors, PLCs, Process Sensors, Transmitters, Controllers, and 480 volts.
3. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation systems.
4. Excellent understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Willingness to participate in emergency response and on-call rotation.
10. Relevant certification or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
