Primary Services is actively recruiting for an E-Commerce Operations Analyst to support a large, high-performing client in the energy industry. In this role, you'll work closely with IT, product management, and marketing teams to manage product and pricing updates, troubleshoot web systems, and enhance operational processes through automation and data analysis. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for improving performance through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product and pricing content across multiple brands and web sales platforms.
  • Act as a business liaison to IT for troubleshooting and issue resolution of web assets.
  • Run reports and use monitoring tools to track application performance and errors.
  • Perform root cause analysis for data and code-related issues and support fixes.
  • Conduct application testing, including unit and regression testing.
  • Support monthly evening code releases and document testing outcomes.
  • Use automation tools to streamline workflows, improve quality, and increase speed to market.
  • Track and prioritize incoming requests using workflow management systems.
  • Monitor operational metrics and respond to performance gaps.
  • Design and manage database solutions and new business processes.
  • Evaluate existing processes for control improvements and update process documentation.
  • Develop business requirements for new capabilities and facilitate stakeholder reviews.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing for new operational tools and system enhancements.
  • Partner with product owners on campaign timelines, delivery, and production fixes.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of professional experience required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Operations, IT, Project Management, or Consulting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like Tridion or Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML, and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of retail energy competition and regulatory rules.
  • Experience in process automation (RPA) and business systems analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Visio, Power BI, and MS Project.
  • Ability to define and track key performance metrics.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
