Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Planner Coordinator to support inventory management and sales planning for a dynamic retail and e-commerce operation in the entertainment industry. This role is part of a special project and requires experience in buying, forecasting, and managing inventory lifecycles within a fast-paced, artist-centric commercial environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory across multiple direct-to-consumer (D2C) stores and third-party platforms.
  • Review stock levels, sell-through rates, and seasonal trends to determine inventory positioning.
  • Forecast sales and inventory needs for core products based on historical data and projected growth.
  • Recommend promotional strategies and determine SKU lifecycle, including print-on-demand versus stock positions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate inventory needs and align on marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor underperforming products and suggest discontinuation when appropriate.
  • Initiate purchase orders, secure financial approvals, and coordinate with production teams.
  • Communicate delivery timelines and coordinate with logistics teams to manage inventory flow.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for customer service and logistics inquiries related to inventory.
  • Work closely with internal production teams to investigate and resolve order issues or discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant business experience, preferably in the music, entertainment, or apparel industries.
  • 2+ years of e-commerce experience in planning, sales analysis, buying, or forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with garment production and logistics processes.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
