Responsibilities - Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, live chat, and social media in a friendly and informative manner.
- Provide guidance on plant selection, care instructions, and troubleshooting common issues (e.g., leaf drop, pests).
- Assist with orders, tracking, returns, and replacements-especially for live plants and fragile items.
- Educate customers on our products, seasonal promotions, and plant-care tips.
- Collaborate with the fulfillment and horticulture teams to resolve customer concerns accurately and efficiently.
- Use our CRM and order management systems (Shopify) to log customer interactions and follow up as needed.
Qualifications - 1+ year of customer service experience in e-commerce.
- Passion for plants, gardening, or horticulture (basic knowledge of common houseplants or outdoor plants is a big plus.).
- Strong written communication skills with a friendly and empathetic tone.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Gorgias, or Freshdesk is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in a greenhouse, garden center, or plant retail setting.
