Purpose

The E-Commerce Director is responsible for leading and optimizing the company's presence across multiple online marketplaces, including Amazon and Walmart, and the E-Commerce team. The E-Commerce Director role focuses on ensuring product visibility, profitability, and operational efficiency, while coordinating closely with internal teams to drive growth on these platforms. This position is integral to the company's expansion efforts in the eCommerce space.


Pay

$140,000 - 160,000


Position Accountable for the Following Key Results

  • Performs key job duties while upholding the Company's Mission & Guiding Principles.
  • Develop and execute on short- and long-term digital strategies to improve traffic and conversion.
  • Develop 1P, 3P and Marketplace Road map for profitable growth.
  • Lead and scale Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales, with a strategic focus on revenue growth, performance marketing, customer lifecycle management, and full ownership of the digital sales funnel-from vision to execution and optimization.
  • Ensure company is meeting overall sales plan performance and budget compliance.
  • Build and present business review decks reporting on the state of the business.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure website experiences and customer journeys are optimized to drive customer engagement and conversion.
  • Plan and allocate advertising spend based on performance KPI's.


• Own weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs such as conversion rate, ATC, AOV, and UPT.


• Own prioritization and execution of A/B testing roadmap to continuously improve the user

experience and conversion rate


• Create best-in-class online experience across all e-commerce platforms.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and trends within the digital environment.


• Partner with leadership across operations, sales, marketing, and creative teams to ensure that

the launch calendar, product assortment, and customer experience are aligned with overall

product messaging and sales targets.

  • Obtain and build new accounts and categories in existing customers.
  • All other duties as assigned in support of the future growth and success of iLoveToCreate.

Team Leader Expectations

Ownership for the iLTC culture within your team of direct reports, as well as your partnership with other teams within the organization.

  • Responsibility for ensuring your team's cross-functional projects and team deliverables are being completed as expected by your business partners.
  • Oversight of your team's workflow including their compliance with Company policies and participation within Paylocity.
  • Major focus on the internal growth and development of all direct reports; along with regular participation in the iLTC Career Development Plan and succession planning programs.
  • Management and discretion over department(s) budgetary spend and team labor allocations.

Talent Profile

Results driven professional with proven expertise in managing operations within e-commerce marketplaces and third-party (3P) shipping environments.

Strong background in domestic and international E-commerce.

Demonstrated communications skills - written and oral.

Ability to clearly communicate product features and benefits to each retailer based on their specific consumer base and needs.

Ability to work under pressure and make quick accurate decisions while keeping the customer in mind and what is best for iLoveToCreate.

Strong analytical skills relative to sales analysis, margin and profitability tracking and reporting.

Proven track record of achieving or beating established sales and profitability goals.

Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements to the company.

Strong negotiating and sales skills, ability to close the deal. Manage vendor contracts negotiations and secure price increases when necessary.

Implement forward-thinking strategies aimed at developing and improving customer retention and satisfaction.

Proven track record of being successful working with cross-functional teams.


Education and/or experience

  • Seven or more years' experience in senior e-commerce role working directly with Amazon. Additional e-commerce account experience is a plus.

Experience with 3 rd party tools to drive E-commerce sales and analytical reporting.

It is preferred for the candidate to have a BS degree in Business with emphasis in Sales or Marketing.

Physical demands

  • While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach above/ below shoulder level.
  • Occasionally required to lift/carry/push up to 40 lbs, repetitively use both hands/arms/shoulders, forward bending/stooping and light grasping and fine dexterity of both hands. Ability to participate in a team lift for any lifting necessary over 40 lbs.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time (may include international travel).
