Position: DSP Engineer

Working Hours: 8-5pm M-F
Salary: $115,000-$160,000
JOB DESCRIPTION
A top-tier test and measurement organization is seeking a DSP Software Engineer to help develop the next generation of RF signal analysis tools. This engineer will design and implement real-time measurement algorithms that enable customers to analyze and debug complex wireless signals such as 5G, Wi-Fi, and radar.
This is a software-focused R&D role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in digital signal processing, wireless communication theory, and experience developing in C or C . You will work as part of an Agile R&D team alongside other DSP experts, RF engineers, and software developers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Programming experience applying advanced DSP and Digital Communication theories and concepts to algorithm code.
- 3-7+ years of experience in DSP software development
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB, C or C - Experience implementing algorithms involving FFT, IQ data, filtering, modulation/demodulation, etc.
- Deep understanding of digital communication systems (e.g., QAM, OFDM, 5G NR)
- Solid understanding of time-domain and frequency
- domain DSP concepts
- Strong grasp of signal analysis concepts like phase noise, EVM, harmonics, SNR, etc.
- Please note we are NOT looking for AI/Ml Engineers or Researchers. This will be a design role.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity RF/mW wireless communications system architecture
- Proficient in technical writing and creation of professional, technical diagrams
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
