About the Role:We are seeking a Drywall Superintendent to oversee commercial drywall projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of drywall installation, and the ability to manage crews effectively while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations on multiple drywall projects.
- Coordinate and supervise field crews, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Enforce safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, and General Contractors.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and material deliveries to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve any issues.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors and vendors.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in commercial drywall construction.
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Installer preferred.
- Strong understanding of drywall framing, hanging, taping, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling software and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
