Job Summary

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Music at Kutztown University announces the following temporary part-time position beginning Fall 2025: Drum Set Specialist (drum set studio teaching). A successful interview and demonstration of teaching and performance ability will be required.

Courses to be taught: MUPF 229: Applied Jazz Instruction - Drum Set

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent professional experience and three academic years of related teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

A master's degree in Music or a related field is preferred.
