Requirements:
Must effectively carry out the essential duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner that champions and promotes Austin Telco's mission, core values, and culture; contributes positively to achieving business plan objectives, goals, and outcomes; and demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and respect in all interactions. Other duties may be assigned, including, but are not limited to, the following:
- Opens and closes the branch.
- Provide accurate, courteous, and prompt service to members, both over the phone and in-person.
- Provides members with account balances, services available, and general information.
- Oversees day-to-day operations of the Drive Thru Branch.
- Responsible for documenting personnel files for subordinates, including positive or negative counseling, interim reviews, beyond normal reviews, and written progress reports on personnel considered for promotions. Responsible for the training, assignment, review, and appraisal of subordinates and for recommending the hire, termination, and/or other change of status of an employee.
- Responsible for always maintaining a professional posture and positive attitude to set an example for the staff.
- Always maintains open communication between management and branch staff.
- Communicates regularly with the Branch Manager to convey branch needs, coordinate scheduling needs, and coordinate cross-training efforts for staff.
- Controls vault cash and cash flow, including ordering/shipping money, so as not to exceed branch limits set forth.
- Performs monthly and quarterly training and reports as required by company policies.
- Ensures the branch facilities are properly maintained.
- Directs members to the department necessary for services required.
- Posts payments, deposits, withdrawals, and other pertinent information to accounts as required.
- Balances cash drawer in a timely manner.
- Familiar with security procedures, including operations of alarms, camera equipment, and cash vaults.
- Closes accounts ensuring there are no loan balances, open VISA credit card, or outstanding transactions on the account.
- Assists other management when necessary.
- Attends all training sessions as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises employees in the teller department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
ATTENDANCE: Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position. Employees are expected to adhere to assigned work schedules and arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Consistent attendance is necessary to ensure coverage during operational hours and to meet member service demands.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years related experience and/or training in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
